 Stress-Buster Tea

This tea combines an adaptogen with several calming herbs. It's sweetened with orange peel and stevia, so you won't even need to add sugar. 1 tablespoon Siberian ginseng root 2 teaspoons linden flowers 2 teaspoons oatstraw 1 teaspoon kava-kava root 1 teaspoon orange peel 1/4 teaspoon stevia herb or tot taste 3 cups water Simmer all ingredients in a covered pot 10 minutes. Remove from heat and steep an additional 15 minutes. Strain and drink as needed, up to 5 cups per day.

*Lucky for me I deal with very little to no stress in my life. I'm very thankful as well. What is stress? Stress is simply a fact of nature -- forces from the inside or outside world affecting the individual. The individual responds to stress in ways that affect the individual as well as their environment. In general, stress is related to both external and internal factors. External factors include the physical environment, including your job, your relationships with others, your home, and all the situations, challenges, difficulties, and expectations you're confronted with on a daily basis. Internal factors determine your body's ability to respond to, and deal with, the external stress-inducing factors.
